Eastern European coffee consumption set to rise

Coffee consumption is likely to rise in Eastern Europe’s newly emerging nations, International Coffee Organization executive director Nestor Osorio was quoted as saying in late March.Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia were three examples of countries where the demand for coffee was set to increase, Dr Osorio said in an interview conducted by Bloomberg.
He also predicted, given the equilibrium between supply and demand, that prices would remain at current levels for the time being.
