SCAE competitions set to be held at Caffe Culture 2008

The SCAE’s UK chapter is to hold the national finals of the World Championships at next year’s Caffè Culture event, the organisers announced in late November.

Visitors to Caffè Culture—set to take place May 21-22 at London’s Olympia exhibition centre—will be able to see the UK finals of the World Latte Art, World Cup Tasting and World Coffee in Good Spirits competitions. The winners of each of these competitions will go on to take part in the World Championships at the SCAE’s Wonderful Coffee event in Copenhagen, June 19-22.

The partnership between SCAE UK and Caffè Culture began at this year’s event, and will be expanded at the next edition of the show, with the chapter hosting an extended series of workshops and an in-depth look at the speciality coffee sector hosted by leading industry figures.

The full programme of SCAE UK workshops at Caffè Culture will be announced in February.
