The 2008 SCAE Awards for Coffee Excellence
All SCAE members were invited to nominate the best people and organisations in the coffee industry for the Association's prestigious Awards for Coffee Excellence, which were presented this year during the Midsummer Party at Wonderful Coffee in Copenhagen in June.
The 2008 Awards Committee, which included Tatsushi Ueshima of Japan, Nicolas Rueda of Colombia, Colin Smith of the UK, Norway's Alf Kramer and Søren Sylvest of Denmark, considered nominations in five different categories: Young Entrepreneur, Innovation & Design, Hidden Treasure, Passionate Educator and Lifetime Achievement.
